HEADS

This series of paintings is titled "HEADS" because they are not intended to be portrayed as portraits.

Each head was started by simply drawing from selected reference images. I like to work from my drawings to make the paintings.

I'm not looking for a true likeness, it's more about the freedom of expression, exploring the boundaries between drawing and painting and communicating thought provoking pieces of work .

The titles came to me during the painting's creation.
